I've had a deep and long-standing passion for technology, whether it's assembling computers 🪛, writing scripts, developing automation, from basic to advanced, or cloud architecting large+complex systems.
Around the age of 10, I took my first computer assembly course, which quickly led me to explore and pursue programming courses (HTML, CSS, VB, ASP, Macromedia Flash, etc). My professional journey began at the age of 15 when I developed my first e-commerce platform. That early exposure ignited a lifelong passion for technology. 🤓
After 7 years at a major investment bank working on trading robots and low-latency platforms, I relocated to Germany in 2018 to co-found AiSight GmbH. As CTO, I helped scale AiSight into a mid-sized company (+100 employees), which was successfully acquired by Sensirion AG 🇨🇭 in 2021. 🚀
During the last 20 years I've lived in São Paulo 🇧🇷, Mexico City 🇲🇽, Jaipur-Delhi 🇮🇳, Zürich 🇨🇭, London 🇬🇧, Shenzhen 🇨🇳, Santiago-Pucón 🇨🇱, Hamburg 🇩🇪, and Berlin 🇩🇪. I spent weeks traveling with my family in a motorhome through Denmark 🇩🇰, Sweden 🇸🇪, Norway 🇳🇴, Belgium 🇧🇪, and Germany 🇩🇪.
Leading the development of the new Airlines & Flights Hub vertical, working closely with top Global Distribution System (GDS) providers to build travel technology solutions.
Berlin-based early stage investor for hard and deep tech startups working on sustainability across climate, IoT and human health.
Co-founded AiSight and grew the team to 100+ employees. Built plug-and-play hardware and software solutions using vibration, magnetic field, and temperature sensors combined with AI to predict and prevent machine failures.
Supported Let's Code as it evolved from a B2C EdTech startup into ADA, a B2B platform focused on closing Brazil's technology skills gap. Helped the team mature its engineering practices, moving from manual operations to automated infrastructure, continuous delivery, and comprehensive testing.
Part of initial founding discussions (2014/2015). Designed and architected the multi-bank data integration and processing landscape for this AI-powered financial assistant application.
Joined the Treasury Desk in FX and Fixed Income teams at Latin America's largest investment bank. Developed highly critical low-latency trading robots and algorithms. Researched genetic algorithms for dynamic yield curve generation and forecasting.
